Chimp Rewriter Version 3 Preview – Spin and Compare

As you probably know, Chimp Rewriter Version 3.0 has been in the works for a while now. Firstly, we’d like to say sorry that we have kept you hanging on this long. We’ve been “in development” for far too long and you are probably getting annoyed with us a bit. Things have got a bit out of hand, mostly because we decided to rewrite Chimp from the ground up (again). The positive here is that this entirely new engine means that Chimp will be ridiculously fast, a lot more stable and provide some new things that you have been asking for.

Really, we are sorry.

With that out of the way, here is a little sneak peak at the Spin & Compare window available in Chimp Rewriter v3. The new bit here is now you can use this window to generate up to 1,000 unique articles and compare them against each other to find the absolute most unique versions possible from the article you’ve spun. Traditional spinning can end up using the same variations in output articles, wasting some of the spintax you’ve added to your article. Now, you can squeeze every little bit of uniqueness out.

On top of that, you can make some final adjustments to the generated articles using the spelling and grammar checker to double check everything is perfect before you export.

There’s a few more things going on here as well, which you’ll get to see with Chimp v3.

Good to see the work – but no mention of an expected release? That being said, what was the purpose of the update?

We can’t give a date simply because we don’t know exactly when it will be. Some of our tasks are taking much longer than expected!

The purpose of this post was to show you that there is definitely progress being made

Great article spinner, now came with new version! Cannot wait to use it.

This feature is great but currently unusable, unfortunately when I do ‘Save all…’ it creates text files and strips all HTML that’s in the article e.g. removing links, imgs, embeds, etc. Looking forward to seeing it fixed 🙂

Thanks for pointing that out Adam… we’re checking it out now

Just realised that you can select plain text or html in the profile settings. We’re going to change to default to html for new users as it makes more sense. But existing installs will have to change in the profile settings 🙂
